When in the front pulled and rear pushed mode, one or more tractors ahead of the trailer, and the power booster behind of the trailer, before the trailer runs to a narrow S-shaped bend road, the driver can start the Power Pack Unit. Once the frontal tractor no longer has sufficient power to manage the incline, i.e. the speed drops below 14km/h, the driving gear starts automatically, thus providing sufficient thrust. Cases

The power booster modular trailer has three working modes:


1. Assist mode

When in the front pulled and rear pushed mode, one or more tractors ahead of the trailer, and the power booster behind of the trailer, before the trailer runs to a narrow S-shaped bend road, the driver can start the Power Pack Unit. Once the frontal tractor no longer has sufficient power to manage the incline, i.e. the speed drops below 14km/h, the driving gear starts automatically, thus providing sufficient thrust. The additional driving gear also switches off automatically once the incline has been overcome and speed can be increased again.

 

2. Trailer combination

It can be used as a common trailer when on public roads, its carrying capacity can be up to 36 tons per axle line. When it is used as a trailer combination, the PPU is switched off, and the driving gear is turned into the pulled mode by the control valve of the driving gear, it can achieve a speed of 80km/h.

 

3. Control without truck

The Power Booster can connect with the common trailer side-by-side or end-to-end like the self-propelled hydraulic module transporter when disconnecting the front tractor. It can achieve hydraulic driving, lifting and lowering, hydraulic steering, air braking and other functions by the control of the PPU.
