The combination of the heavy equipment hauling trailers and hydraulic trailer successfully
On August 11, the combination of the heavy equipment hauling trailers and hydraulic trailer successfully completed the transportation of 350-ton transformer in Xinjiang. The distance of the heavy transporter was up to 20.5km, along which were the Junggar Basin and the Guerbantunggut Desert Region. It needed to go through many culverts, protection frameworks for height limit and lines of communication. This was a huge challenge for us to transport so many large parts and sections in such special road conditions within such limited construction period. After the study, 12 plus 12 axles combination transportation plan was adopted, the heavy-duty tractor and the hydraulic trailer combination took the 14 pieces of large transformers to traverse the roads in the Junggar Basin and the Guerbantunggut Desert Region and we completed the transportation tasks in a safe and efficient manner that laid a solid foundation for the timely operation of the converter station. By virtue of our excellent technical strength and production capacity in heavy equipment transport, ARLEK provided a complete set of transportation equipment and solutions for this overweight transportation mission and actively assisted One Belt One Road (OBOR) construction project.
